Why I Do This
I created Life Giving Mindfulness because I know what it’s like to survive something that changes you — and then be expected to “move on” as if nothing happened.
Abuse doesn’t just hurt in the moment. It can quietly reshape how you see yourself, what you believe you deserve, and how safe you feel in your own body. For a long time, I felt disconnected from who I was, unsure of my worth, and exhausted from carrying everything alone.
This space exists for people who are tired of just surviving — and are ready to begin healing in a way that feels gentle, grounded, and real.
Hi, I’m Jennifer.
I’m a trauma-informed coach, military leader, and the founder of Life Giving Mindfulness LLC. I’m also a single mom, an animal lover, and someone who deeply values meaningful connection, emotional honesty, and slow, sustainable growth.
My work is shaped by both lived experience and professional leadership. As a military leader and trauma-informed coach, I understand the importance of safety, structure, and steady growth. Healing doesn’t require urgency — it requires support. I understand what it means to rebuild yourself from the inside out — not by forcing positivity, but by learning to feel safe again, listening to your emotions, and reconnecting with your truth.
I don’t believe healing should feel rushed, overwhelming, or performative. I believe it should feel human.
My approach to healing
Healing isn’t about becoming someone new.
It’s about remembering who you were before you had to protect yourself.
At Life Giving Mindfulness, I focus on:
Rebuilding self-worth without pressure
Learning to trust yourself again
Creating healthy, embodied boundaries
Understanding your emotions instead of judging them
Moving forward at a pace your nervous system can handle
This is not a space for “fixing” yourself.
It’s a space for meeting yourself with compassion.
This space is for you if:
You’ve left an abusive or controlling relationship
You feel disconnected from yourself
You struggle with self-doubt or people-pleasing
You’re tired of being strong all the time
You want healing that feels safe, not overwhelming
You don’t have to be “ready” in a perfect way.
You just have to be willing to begin.
What’s coming
Life Giving Mindfulness is growing into a space that will offer:
1:1 trauma-informed coaching
Group healing experiences
Self-guided courses and workbooks
These offerings are currently in development, and I’m intentionally building them with care — not urgency.
If you’d like to be part of this journey, the best way to stay connected is through my email list.
